Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course
Consultancy driven, this 18-hole mains, greens and tees new construction project occupied a Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI) on links land. It included the installation of a pipe and cable network, skid-mounted pressurised pumping plant, internally-constructed sectional panelled water storage tank and state of the art Toro GDC PC control system equipped with radio remote control and weather station monitoring. The water supply is delivered to the irrigation storage tank by a number of well point systems through an additional delivery pumping system.
